Child Safety Standards
Last updated: January 2026
Our Commitment
Nautir has a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). We are committed to preventing the use of our platform for any activities that exploit, harm, or endanger children. Protecting minors is our highest priority.
Age Restriction
Nautir is strictly for adults aged 18 and older. We enforce this through:
- Mandatory identity verification: All users must verify their age through government-issued ID before accessing the platform
- Biometric liveness checks: Real-time verification ensures the person creating the account is the same person shown on the ID
- Immediate account termination: Any user found to be under 18 is immediately and permanently banned
Proactive Detection & Prevention
We employ multiple layers of technology and human review to detect and prevent CSAM:
- AI-powered content moderation: All uploaded photos are automatically scanned using industry-leading AI systems to detect potentially harmful content involving minors
- Hash matching: We use PhotoDNA and similar technologies to identify known CSAM imagery
- Behavioral analysis: Our systems flag suspicious patterns that may indicate grooming or exploitation attempts
- Human moderation: Trained Trust & Safety staff review flagged content and reports
Reporting Mechanisms
Users can report child safety concerns through multiple channels:
- In-app reporting: Tap the flag icon on any profile or in any chat to report concerning content or behavior, including the "Appears Underage" option
- Email: Contact our Trust & Safety team directly at safety@nautir.com
- 24/7 monitoring: All reports involving potential child safety issues are prioritized and reviewed immediately
Reports involving minors are escalated immediately and handled with the highest urgency.
Reporting to Authorities
Nautir complies with all applicable laws regarding the reporting of child exploitation:
- NCMEC reporting: We report all apparent violations involving CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline as required by U.S. law
- Law enforcement cooperation: We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations and preserve evidence as required
- International compliance: We comply with regional and national reporting requirements in all jurisdictions where we operate
Content Removal & Account Actions
When CSAM or CSAE-related content is identified:
- Content is immediately removed and preserved for law enforcement
- The associated account is permanently banned
- A report is filed with NCMEC and relevant authorities
- Device identifiers are blocked to prevent account recreation
Staff Training
All Nautir employees and contractors who may encounter user-generated content receive:
- Training on recognizing and handling CSAM
- Clear protocols for escalation and reporting
- Regular updates on emerging threats and best practices
- Access to mental health support resources
